ARABIC TRANSLITERATION (OF PRAYER (DU‘AA) AFTER WAZIFAH)
Allahummah! Anta-l Awwalu, fa-laysa qablaka shay'un
Wa Anta-l Aakhiru, fa-laysa ba‘adaka shay’un.
Wa Anta-z Zaahiru, fa-laysa fawqaka shay’un.
Wa Anta-l Baatinu, Fa-laysa duunaka shay’un.
Fa-kun lanaa Yaa Awwalu, Yaa Aakhiru, Yaa Zaahiru, Yaa Baatinu. Waliyyaan wa Naseeran.
Anta Waliyyunaa wa Mawlaanaa, fa-Ni‘ima-l Mawlaa wa Ni‘ima-n Naseeru.
Allahumma innaa nas’aluka bi-faatihiyyati-l-faati’hi al-fat’ha-t-taama.
Wa bi-khaatimiyyati-l-khaatimi husna-l khitaami.
Allahumma innaa nas’aluka mina-l khayri kullihi ‘aajilihi wa aajilihi maa ‘alimtu min’hu wa maa lam a‘alamu.
Wa na‘uuzibika mina-sh sharri kullihi kullihi ‘aajilihi wa aajilihi maa ‘alimtu min’hu wa maa lam a‘alamu.
Allahumma innaa nas’aluka-l Jannata wa maa qarraba ilayhaa min qawlin wa ‘amalin.
Wa na‘uuzibika mina-n Naari wa maa qarraba ilayhaa min qawlin wa ‘amalin.
Allahumma innaa nas’aluka-l afwa wa-l ‘aafiyyata wa-l ma-‘aafaata-d daa’imata fi-d deeni wa-d dunyaa wa-l aakhirati.
Allahumma innaa nas’aluka ridaaka wa ridaa nabiyyika wa ridaa-l ashyaakhi wa ridaa-l waalidayni.
Allahumma ij-‘al maa nuhibbu fiimaa tuhibbu.
Allahumma ij-‘al fii-khtiyaarika ikhtiyaaranaa.
Wa laa taj-‘al illaa ilayka idtiraaranaa.
Yaa Rabbanaa Yaa Khaaliqa-l awaalimi ** hul baynanaa wa bayna kulli zaalimi
Wa ajzi li-kulli man ilaynaa ahsanaa ** wa jaazihi ‘annaa-l jazaa’a-l ahsanaa
Allahuma irfa‘a ‘annaa-l jah’da wa-l juu‘a wa-l ‘urya. Wa’kshif ‘anaa mina-l balaa’i maa laa yakshif’hu ghayruka.
Rabbanaa! aatinaa fii-dunyaa hasanatan, wa fii-l-akhirati hasanatan, wa qinaa adhaaba-n-naari. {Qur’aan2:201}
Rabbanaa! walaa tah-mil-naa maa laa taaqata lanaa bihi, wahaf-‘annaa, wagifiri-lanaa, warihamnaa, Anta Mawlaanaa, fansur’naa alaa-l-qawmil- kaafiriina. {Qur’aan2:286}
Rabbanaa! laa tuzig quluubanaa, ba‘ada idhi-hadaetanaa, wahabu-lanaa min ladunka rahmatan. Innaka Anta-l-Wahaabu. {Qur’aan3:8}
Rabannaa! innanaa sami‘hinaa munaadiyaan yunaadii lil-eemaani: ‘an-aaminuu bi-Rabbikum fa-aamannaa. Rabannaa! faghfir-lanaa dhunuubanaa, wa kaffir annaa sayyihaa-tinaa, wa tawaffanaa ma‘ha-l-abraari. {Qur’aan3:193}
Rabannaa! wa aatinaa maa wa‘had-tanaa alaa rusulika walaa tukhzinaa yauma-l-qiyaamati. Innaka laa tukhlifu-l-mii‘haada. {Qur’aan3:194}
Rabannaa! zalamunaa anfusanaa. wa-in-lam tagfrilanaa, wa tar-ham-naa, lanakuuna-nna mina-l-khaasireena. {Qur’aan7:23}
Rabannaa! aatinaa min ladunka rahmatan wa ayihi-lanaa min amrinaa rashadaan. {Qur’aan18:10}
Rabannaa! hab-lanaa min azwaajinaa wa dhurriyyatinaa qurrata a‘hayunin, waji-halinaa lil-mutaqeena imaamaan. {Qur’aan25:74}
Allahumma ighfir li-hayyinaa wa mayyitinaa wa kabeerinaa wa sagheerinaa wa dhakarinaa wa unthaanaa wa haadirinaa wa ghaa’ibinaa wa hurrinaa wa ‘abdinaa wa taa’ihinaa wa ‘aaseenaa.
Allahummah sali alaa sayiddinaa Muhammad, al-faatihi limaa ughuliqa, wal-khaatimi limaa sabaqa, naasiri-l-haqq bil haqq, wal-haadii ilaa siraatika-l-mustaqeem, wa alaa aalihi, haqqa qadrihi wa miqdaarihi-l-azeem!
Subhaana Rabbika Rabbi-l-‘izzati ammaa yasifuuna. Wa salaamun alaa-l-mursaleena. Wa-l-Hamdu-lillahi-Rabil-aalameen. {Qur’aan 37:180-182}
ENGLISH TRANSLATION (OF PRAYER (DU‘AA) AFTER WAZIFAH)
O, Allah! You are the First. There is nothing before You.
And You are the Last. There is nothing after You.
You are the Manifest. There is nothing above You.
And You are the Hidden. There is nothing below You.
Then be for us, o, First; o, Last; o, Apparent o, Hidden! a helping guardian.
You are our Guardian and our Patron. And how excellent a Patron. How excellent a Helper.
O, Allah! We ask You by the opening of the Opener a complete opening!
And we ask You by the sealing of the Seal a good ending.
O, Allah! We ask You for all good, the immediate and the delayed, that which we know and that which we do not know.
And we seek refuge in You from all evil, the immediate and the delayed, that which we know and that which we do not know.
O, Allah! We ask You for Paradise and words and deeds that draw one close to it.
And we seek refuge in You from the Fire and words and deeds that draw one close to it. O, Allah!
We ask You for perpetual pardon, well-being and freedom from affliction in the religion, this world and the Hereafter.
O, Allah! We ask You for Your satisfaction, the satisfaction of Your Prophet, the satisfaction of our Shaykhs and the satisfaction of our parents.
O, Allah! Cause that which we love to be among that which You love.
O, Allah! Cause our choice to be among that which You choose. And do not make our destituteness for anyone except You.
Our Lord! O, Creator of the Worlds, ** Separate between us and every oppressor,
And reward on our behalf all those who treat us well, ** And give them on our behalf the best of rewards.
O, Allah! Lift from us all strife, hunger and nakedness. And remove from us those afflictions that only You can remove.
{Our Lord! Give us good in this world and good in the Hereafter. And Save us from the punishment of the Fire.} Q2:201
{Our Lord! Do not seize us if we forget or commit mistakes. Our Lord! Do not place upon us a burden like the burdens You placed upon those who went before us. Our Lord! And do not place upon us a burden greater than we can bear. Pardon us, forgive us and have mercy on us. You are our Patron. So help us against the disbelieving people.} Q2:286
{Our Lord! Do not cause our hearts to deviate after You have guided us. And grant us from Yourself a mercy. Indeed, You are the One who Grants. Our Lord! We have heard a call calling to faith: “Believe in your Lord!” And we have believed, o, our Lord! So forgive us our sins and cover our faults. And cause us to die among the righteous.} Q3:193
{And, o, our Lord, grant us what You promised us through Your Messengers. And do not humiliate us on the Day of Judgement. Indeed, You never break Your promise.} Q3:194
{Our Lord! We have wrong ourselves and if You do not forgive us or have mercy on us, we will be among the losers.} Q7:23
{Our Lord! Grant us from Yourself a mercy. And prepare for us in our affair a good outcome} Q18:10
{Our Lord! Grant us make our wives and children the coolness of our eyes and make us leaders of the God-fearing} Q25:74
O, Allah! Forgive those of us who are living and those passed away, the elders and the young, our males and females, those of us present and those who are absent, those who are free and those who are slaves, the obedient and the disobedient.
O, Allah! Bless our Master Muhammad, the Opener of what was closed, the Seal of what went before, the Helper of the Truth by the Truth and the Guide to Your Straight Path, and his family in accordance with his grandeur and immense worth.
Hallowed is your Lord, the Lord of Might, above that which they attribute to Him. Peace be upon the Messengers. And all praise is due to Allah, Lord of All the Worlds.
Ameen thumma Ameen!!!
END NOTE
This
supplication of mine is according to inspiration and spiritual states. But
there is no harm if it should be made a supplication for the lovers after the
Wazifa. And I have given permission for anyone who memorizes it to recite it
after Wazifa, whether they are alone or in a group.
